Season Soiree

SEASON SOIREE

Season Soiree

SEASON SOIREE

A unique, interactive fundraising event

Join us for a gala fundraiser benefitting Blackfriars Theatre's education programming - our fifth annual Season Soiree! Experience a unique evening of one-night-only cabaret performances, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and a raffle featuring prizes from all over the Rochester region!

Plus, YOU pick next Season's big musical!

During the event, along with being treated to a sumptuous cocktail hour, you'll enjoy a selection of surprise performances from musical theatre titles under consideration for the coming season and be given the opportunity to vote on the show you'd most like to see next year. At the end of the evening, the entries will be tallied and we'll unveil the big musical of your 2020-2021 Blackfriars Season!

Soiree Postcard Front-01.jpg

EVENT: Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 | Cocktails and Hors d'Oeuvres at 7pm | Artistic Program at 8pm

VENUE: La Luna | 60 Browns Race | Rochester, New York 14614

TICKETS: $65 per ticket; includes an hour of open bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres and desserts, the one-night-only artistic program and one complimentary voting chip.

HOW IT WORKS: During the Artistic Program, we will reveal a top secret line-up of five musicals we're considering for the 2020-2021 Season. Throughout the course of the night, attendees will be given the chance to cast votes for their favorite show. Each Soiree patron will receive a complimentary Voting Chip upon entry with the opportunity to purchase additional Voting Chips as the night unfolds. Each chip is the equivalent of one vote. Purchase as many Voting Chips as you like - all proceeds will directly support Blackfriars Theatre's Summer Intensive and Conservatory educational programs. At the end of the night, all the chips cast will be counted and the show with the most Voting Chips will be programmed in our 2020-2021 Season! Vote often to ensure your favorite musical will grace the board of our 71st Season - and feel good in the knowledge that each Voting Chip purchased supports the Theatre's educational programming! Voting Chips are available during the event only. Titles of shows under consideration will be unveiled at the event. In addition to these Voting Chips, Soiree attendees can support the theatre by buying raffle tickets and participating in our Soiree wine pull. Cocktail attire is encouraged.

Can't make the event but still wish to support the Season Soiree
and educational programming at Blackfriars Theatre?

You can make a Season Soiree donation by clicking the button below!
(Donations are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law)
