ESTROFEST COMEDY: HAPPY HOUR

EstroFest's Happy Hour! Rochester’s popular sketch-comedy troupe invites you to laugh uproariously with them, as they present hilarious sketches and outrageous videos. CITY Newspaper declared, "EstroFest is a riot!" and critic Jack Garner said, "EstroFest gets you laughing and gets you thinking ... more creative and funnier all the time." EstroFest is Dresden Engle, Andrea Holland, Norma Holland, Allison Roberts, and Freyda Schneider, who produce original and universal material that is often compared to SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (but funnier).

You know her from past Fringes as CITY Newspaper’s 2013 & 2014 Best of Fest Broadway Belter pick. This year, one of the area's most versatile performers is getting "out of costume" for an hour of songs and stories that will rock your Fringe world. From classics to contemporary, and – of course – a showstopper or two from Broadway, unwind with this charming and captivating reflection on life's quick changes and wardrobe malfunctions. Expect the unexpected with JANINE MERCANDETTI: OUT OF COSTUME!

    LIKAH! A PUPPY DOG TALE (THE MUSICAL)

    Likah, a young puppy, just can’t wait to tell you about…Likah! Through this adorable canine storyteller, audiences are immersed in a charming world of discovery, wonder, and adventure. Join Likah as she discovers life’s challenges and joys: puddles, snow monsters, an older sister who doesn’t like her, and her bestest friend. With rollicking songs and joyous dancing, Likah’s enchanting spirit will remain with you long after the show is over. Directed by Wendy Seyb (Broadway’s THE PEE-WEE HERMAN SHOW).

      THANK YOU KISS PRESENTS CARELESS WHISPERS

      Founded in 2013, Thank You Kiss (TYK) is a sketch comedy group featuring Marc D'Amico, Megan Mack, John Forrest Thompson, and Beth Winslow. TYK presents a unique blend of satire, sincerity, and silliness through sketch, improvisation, video, and music. Its members have studied and worked at such renowned comedy theatres as iO, The Second City, and The Annoyance. The D&C's arts blog named TYK a "Fringe Pick" in 2015.         WHAT I KNOW

        In her newest cabaret show, WHAT I KNOW, MaryJayne Waddell takes a humorous and thoughtful look at how growing up in Rochester taught her all she needed to know for a career both on and off stage. From early appearances on Channel 8's SKIPPER SAM SHOW to performing on Broadway, she muses about life's twists, turns and teachings. Don't miss this engaging and entertaining show from a multi-talented singer who has delighted audiences across the country.
